When exposed to the US market in his different front of the house managerial roles at the Ritz-Carlton, Soho House and the Prime 112 group, he demonstrated a keen understanding of market trends, consumer preferences, and operational efficiency, gaining invaluable insights into every aspect of the business. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Jerry ventured into his latest project, founding DOYA restaurant in 2021. Under his leadership, DOYA has flourished, earning acclaim for its innovative cuisine, impeccable service, and commitment to quality. In addition to entrepreneurship, he has shown to be disruptive to the Miami Hospitality market by not only innovating but also educating and sharing his acquired knowledge, which he obtained through his close-knit worldwide industry network connections, to local industry professionals.
